DEFEND CZECH Republic s.r.o. is a member of the DEFEND GROUP. At the end of 2012 the DEFEND GROUP decided to split its business portfolio into two elementary streams according to their specific activities and products — DEFEND AUTOMOTIVE GROUP and the newly established division, DEFEND INSURANCE GROUP.

DEFEND AUTOMOTIVE GROUP (DAG) continues in the main direction of the companies of the DEFEND GROUP, which have more than 20 years of experience in research, production, and distribution of the portfolio of DEFEND’s material products for vehicles in the fields of protection from theft, operational safety, comfort of use, location monitoring and economical operation.

DEFEND INSURANCE GROUP (DIG) took over the current insurance products and also introduced a new portfolio of specialised insurance for vehicles — GAP and "Prodloužená záruka" (Czech for "extended guarantee") for new and used vehicles. The main partner of the company is the multinational syndicate, Lloyd´s of London.

DEFEND GROUP's European headquarters are in Prague. It has two dealers in the Czech Republic (Prague and Holešov) and in Slovakia. The R&D and manufacturing facility is located in the town of Holešov. There are 8 more dealers and affiliated companies in Europe (AT, BIH, HR, IT, LT, SRB, SLO).
 

The DEFEND GROUP dates back to 1994. During its existence it became a leader in the field of vehicle safety in the Czech Republic. It has also strengthened its position in other countries, predominantly located in Central and Eastern Europe. Defend Group focuses on research, development, production, and distribution of safety systems and vehicle protection systems under the strong DEFEND brand. DEFEND products are distributed through a network of more than 600 vendors of new and used vehicles, insurance brokers and authorised representatives.
